What this connection does
Synemer connects to Hyperliquid using your wallet address. The journal reads your public trade history from the Hyperliquid API, so no API keys or passwords are involved.
Your address is encrypted and only used to look up your trade data.
Before you start
You need an address on the Hyperliquid mainnet, set up in the Hyperliquid app or another supported wallet.
Use your main trading wallet. Hyperliquid agent wallets and sub-accounts have their own addresses, and linking the wrong one shows no trading history.
Find your wallet address
Open the Hyperliquid app and check your account menu. Your wallet address starts with 0x and is shown there.
If you trade from sub-accounts or a vault, use the address of the account that actually placed the trades, not your master or agent wallet.
Add the connection in Synemer
In Synemer, go to Settings and then Connections. Choose Hyperliquid as the broker.
Paste your wallet address and save the connection. The first sync walks back through your fill history and then keeps itself up to date.
What syncs automatically
Synemer brings in your closed perpetuals trades, including fees, plus your open positions with their stop losses and take profits.
Hyperliquid keeps the 10,000 most recent fills, so very old trades on a high-volume account may not appear.
Troubleshooting
If nothing imports, check that you pasted your main trading wallet, not an agent or sub-wallet address.
You can remove the connection at any time from the same settings screen.
