Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Synemer collects when you use the service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Synemer website and the Synemer app.

Account data: your email address and authentication details when you sign up.

Trade data: the trades, notes, tags and strategies you add, plus trade history synced from the connections you set up.

Connection data: the configuration needed to sync your accounts, such as exchange API keys or MetaTrader account details.

Payment data: billing information needed to process your subscription, handled by our payment providers (see below).

Usage data: basic technical information like browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service reliable.

We use your data to run the service: syncing your trades, showing your journal and analytics, and managing your account and subscription.

We may also send you product updates, trade reminders or email digests based on the preferences you set in your account. You can change those preferences at any time in Settings.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your trade history for advertising.

Exchange API keys you add are encrypted at rest and are only used server-side to sync your trades. Some exchanges require an API passphrase in addition to a key and secret; where present, that passphrase is stored encrypted the same way.

We recommend creating keys with read-only permissions. Synemer never requests withdrawal or trading rights and cannot place orders or move funds on your behalf.

You can revoke access at any time by deleting the connection in Synemer or rotating the key at your exchange.

We rely on a small set of providers to operate Synemer: Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel for hosting, LemonSqueezy for card payments, and BoomFi for crypto payments. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service to us.

Card payments are handled entirely by LemonSqueezy, and crypto payments by BoomFi. Synemer never sees or stores your card details.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual trades and connections at any time.

To request deletion of your entire account and its associated data, contact us at privacy@synemer.com. We will process the request within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at privacy@synemer.com for any of these requests.
