Connect MetaTrader 4 to Synemer
Set up the SynemerMT4 Expert Advisor to push closed positions from MetaTrader 4 directly into your trading journal.

What this connection does
Synemer connects to MetaTrader 4 through a lightweight Expert Advisor that runs inside your terminal.
The EA watches for closed positions and sends them to Synemer automatically, so your journal stays up to date without manual imports.
Before you start
Make sure you have MetaTrader 4 installed on your computer and a working account connected to it.
You will need the EA file. Download it from the Synemer documentation or repository.
Create the connection in Synemer
In Synemer, go to Settings and then Connections. Choose MetaTrader 4 and give the connection a clear name.
Save the connection. Synemer will generate a unique EA token and endpoint URL for you.
Configure MetaTrader 4
Open MetaTrader 4 and allow WebRequest for the endpoint URL in Tools > Options > Expert Advisors.
Copy the SynemerMT4 EA file to your MQL4/Experts folder.
Attach the EA to any chart. In the properties dialog, paste the EA token and endpoint URL into the Inputs tab.
Verify the setup
Close a position in MetaTrader 4. The trade should appear in Synemer within a few seconds.
If nothing arrives, check the Experts tab for errors and confirm the WebRequest URL is allowed.
Security notes
The EA only sends closed position data. It cannot place trades or withdraw funds.
You can revoke access at any time by deleting the connection in Synemer.
