What the Performance page shows
The Performance page is your deep dive into the numbers behind your results. It adds risk-adjusted ratios, drawdown, distribution, time analysis, and breakdowns on top of the headline metrics you see on Analytics.
The tabs at the top split the page into Overview, Distribution, Time, and Breakdown. Everything respects the same date range and filters.
The KPI row and period comparison
The top row shows your headline numbers: total P&L, win rate, trade count, and profit factor. When a previous period is available, a green or red chip shows the change from the last window.
The arrow shows the direction of the change, not whether it is good or bad. Hover the info icon on any metric for a short explanation.
The equity curve
The equity curve plots your cumulative P&L over time. The dashed line marks the zero point, so dips below it mean you are losing overall.
A rising line means your results are compounding. Flat stretches mean you are treading water.
The drawdown chart
Drawdown shows how far your equity is below its running peak at each point in time. It only ever goes down or returns to zero.
The lower the line, the deeper your loss from the last high point. Long low stretches point to sustained losing periods.
Sortino ratio
The Sortino ratio works like Sharpe but only counts downside volatility. Upside swings do not lower it.
It is a fairer measure when your winning trades are much larger than your losing ones.
Recovery factor
Recovery factor divides your total P&L by your worst drawdown. It measures how quickly you recover from losses.
A value above 1 means your total profit is larger than your deepest losing stretch.
Max drawdown
Max drawdown is the largest drop from a peak to a trough in your equity curve, in dollars and percent.
It is a direct measure of how painful the worst stretch was. Keep it in mind when choosing position size.
Max drawdown duration
Max drawdown duration is the longest stretch your equity stayed below its previous peak.
A long duration means you spent weeks or months waiting to get back to break-even, even if the drawdown depth was small.
Profit factor
Profit factor divides your total winnings by your total losses. A value above 1 means you earn more than you lose overall.
It is a quick sanity check, not the full story. A strategy with a high profit factor can still lose money if it trades rarely.
Expectancy
Expectancy is the average P&L per trade. A positive value means the average trade makes money.
It removes the effect of how often you trade, which makes it one of the most useful single numbers.
Win / loss ratio
The win/loss ratio compares the average winning trade to the average losing trade. Above 1 means your winners are bigger than your losers.
Read it together with your win rate: a high win rate with a low ratio can still be unprofitable.
Standard deviation
Standard deviation measures how spread out your per-trade P&L is. Higher values mean more variance in your results.
Two traders with the same total P&L can have very different standard deviations. The lower one is the more predictable one.
The P&L distribution
The distribution chart buckets your per-trade P&L into ranges. Green buckets are profitable trades, red are losses.
A wide spread with fat red tails means your results depend on a few big trades. Tight clustering means your edge is more consistent.
Cumulative P&L
This chart plots your cumulative P&L trade by trade, in the order they closed.
The slope at any point shows how fast you were making or losing money at that stage.
Monte Carlo
Monte Carlo reshuffles your actual trades 1,000 times and records the final P&L and max drawdown of each shuffled sequence.
This shows the range of outcomes your results could take when the order of trades changes. It does not change any individual trade, so it measures the effect of luck in sequencing.
Breakdowns
The Breakdown tab splits your results by symbol, strategy, side, or connection. Each row shows trades, win rate, average P&L, and total P&L.
Use it to find which setups earn and which ones quietly lose money.
