What this connection does
Synemer connects to SunX with an Access Key and Secret Key that have Read permission only. Your closed USDT-margined perpetual trades land in one journal without manual entry.
Your credentials are encrypted and only used to read historical trade data.
Before you start
An active Synemer account.
A SunX Access Key and Secret Key with Read permission.
Access to SunX API management at sunperp.com.
Create a read-only key in SunX
Connect your wallet at sunperp.com and open the API management page. Create a new key and give it Read permission only.
Copy the Access Key and Secret Key. Do not enable Trade or Withdraw. Synemer never needs them.
If SunX lets you bind IPs, allow Synemer's egress IP. Binding is optional, but it limits where the key can be used.
Add the connection in Synemer
In Synemer, open Add connection, choose SunX, and paste the Access Key and Secret Key.
Save the connection. Synemer validates the key on the first sync.
What syncs automatically
Synemer imports filled orders for active USDT-margined perpetual contracts, rebuilds closed positions, and records fill-level orders. Open positions and account balance are captured too.
Deposits, withdrawals, and spot/contract transfers are tracked as capital flows. Spot trading, options, and delivery futures are not imported.
History is limited to 90 days
SunX documents a 90-day limit on order history. Synemer imports that window on the first sync and keeps syncing new orders as they fill.
There is no position-history endpoint. A position that opened before the window and closed inside it is rebuilt from the exit orders. Synemer keeps the realized PnL and marks the missing entry as incomplete.
Troubleshooting
A signature or timestamp error usually means the secret is wrong or the system clock is off. Create a new key in SunX and paste both values again.
A permission error means the key lacks Read access. Edit the key in SunX or create a new one.
If SunX returns a rate limit, wait a minute. Synemer retries on the next sync tick.
If the request is blocked by a region or proxy, check the SunX notice in the app. Synemer routes SunX through its EU egress, so a VPN is not required.
If no history appears, confirm that the account traded USDT-margined perpetuals in the last 90 days.
