What this connection does
Synemer connects to cTrader through a read-only connection that runs in the background. Once linked, your closed trades, orders, and open positions flow into the journal automatically.
You do not need to install anything or keep the cTrader terminal open. Synemer syncs your account from cTrader's servers.
Before you start
You need a cTrader ID and at least one cTrader account, demo or live.
The connection only reads your account data. It can never place or modify trades.
Connect your cTrader account
Open Synemer, go to Settings, then Connections, and choose cTrader.
You will be sent to cTrader to authorize Synemer. Sign in with your cTrader ID and grant access.
You will return to Synemer with a list of your cTrader accounts. Pick the one you want to sync and name the connection.
Demo or live
You can connect demo and live accounts. Each account becomes its own connection in Synemer.
If you trade with several brokers, repeat the steps to connect each account you want to journal.
What gets synced
Synemer imports your full trade history automatically, including trades that were closed before you connected.
Orders are recorded at the execution level, and open positions update in real time as you trade.
Troubleshooting
If a sync stops, open the connection in Synemer and use Reconnect cTrader to authorize again.
Removing the connection in Synemer revokes access and deletes the synced data.
