What this connection does
Synemer connects to BloFin with a read-only API key, secret and passphrase. It imports closed USDT-M perpetual futures trades, fill-level orders, open positions, account balance and transfers into the futures account.
Your credentials are encrypted and only used to read data. The connection cannot place orders or move funds.
Before you start
Make sure you have a BloFin account with two-factor authentication enabled.
You will need access to your Synemer account settings, where connections are managed.
Create a read-only API key in BloFin
Log in to BloFin and open the API page at blofin.com/account/apis. Create a new key with a clear name, such as Synemer Read Only, and select Tax Report API as the key type.
Set an API passphrase and save it, because Synemer needs the same passphrase for every request.
BloFin passphrases are 4 to 20 characters using letters, numbers, or underscores.
The API passphrase is not your login password. Keys without an IP whitelist expire after 90 days. If you use IP restrictions, allow Synemer's EU egress IP so the connection keeps working without renewal.
Add the connection in Synemer
In Synemer, go to Settings and then Connections. Choose BloFin as the exchange.
Paste the API key, secret and passphrase, then save the connection. Synemer validates the credentials on the first sync.
What syncs automatically
Synemer imports closed USDT-M perpetual futures trades grouped by position, fill-level orders, open positions and the reported account balance.
Spot trading and coin-margined futures are not imported. This connection reads USDT-M perpetual futures only.
How capital flows work
Only transfers into and out of the BloFin futures account are counted. Funding to futures is a deposit; futures to funding is a withdrawal.
On-chain deposits and withdrawals are not counted until you transfer the funds to or from futures.
Troubleshooting
If validation fails, check that the key was created as a Tax Report API key, the API passphrase, any IP restriction and the 90-day expiry. A signature or passphrase error usually means the wrong passphrase was saved.
You can revoke access at any time by deleting the connection in Synemer or rotating the key in BloFin.
