Why connect XM to Synemer
If your history lives only in the terminal, it is hard to see patterns. Synemer turns closed trades into stats you can review and compare.
It runs in the background, so you do not log trades by hand.
Supported XM platforms
Synemer connects to XM through MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 using the Synemer Expert Advisor.
XM does not offer cTrader, so those are the two platforms available.
What gets synced
Synemer records the closed trades: symbol, direction, entry and exit, size, price and profit or loss.
The connection is read-only. Synemer cannot trade on your XM account.
Several XM accounts
Add each XM account as its own connection. This keeps a micro account, a standard account and a demo account separate in your analytics.
You can then compare how your approach performs on each.

- Your XM MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 terminal with the account added.

How to connect XM

Open Add connection, select XM and choose the MetaTrader version for the account.

Add the Synemer Expert Advisor to your XM terminal and paste your EA token.

The first sync backfills closed trades, then updates as new ones close.
